Well, after leaving AVG once for Avast! and quickly returning I am (hopefully) leaving AVG for good.

I have switched to the free Firewall and AV combo Comodo Internet Security. So far the experience has been really great, and I think uninstalling AVG has lessened my ‘login to usable’ time by about 30 seconds.

Well, if you can’t tell, the upgrade to 2.7 worked without a hitch as far as I can tell. Hopefully it’ll stay this way, and I’m diggin’ this new admin panel more than the previous one! Might even look for a new theme, I’m considering running my whole site on wordpress, so I might adapt [...]

I didn’t even realize it, but wordpress just released the first Release Candidate for Wordpress 2.7. So far my favorite upcoming feature is auto-update, because with the amount of times I’ve botched an upgrade this will certainly be welcome.

So for the second+ time since I got this domain, I’ve hosed my wordpress install. This evening I was going to start a new ‘tradition’ of sorts, and write a blog post every thursday, and so here it is.
